The premiere of the report "Robotization in Poland in 2023" provided an opportunity for an expert discussion about the current state and challenges of robotization in our country. With representatives of public institutions, universities, industry associations, businesses and think tanks, we discussed, among other things, the impact of robotization on employment and technological dependence, as well as potential recommendations for public policies in this area.
What challenges do war refugees from Ukraine face in the Polish labor market? Does discrimination against Ukrainian refugees occur during recruitment processes? Is the scale similar to age-related disparities among Polish workers?
Ukraine has found itself in dire straits since Russia invaded it in 2022. In the face of immense loss of human life, destroyed critical infrastructure, disrupted trade routes, and seized territory, Ukraine must address not only immediate humanitarian and military needs but also plan for a more resilient future. After positive recommendations for opening EU accession negotiations, European leaders might confirm them on 14-15 December.
