Graduate of the Institute of Sociology at the University of Warsaw and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw, where from 2006 to 2017 he was an assistant professor in the Department of Microeconomics. From 2007 to 2011, he was an expert in operational research at the Orange Labs research and development center. From 2011 to 2014, he served as Vice President of the Management Board of the CASE Foundation. From 2015 to 2017, he coordinated the economic research program at the Digital Economy Lab (DELab) at the University of Warsaw and was a member of the Council for Digitalization. From 2017 to 2023, he worked as an economist for digital transformation at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (DG JRC). For a brief period, he also worked at the OECD as an economist in the digital policy area.
