A graduate of the University of Warsaw, where he studied at the Institute of Information Science and Book Studies, he also completed the Management Course at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, as well as postgraduate studies at Warsaw University of Technology in project management, SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Big Data and data engineering, and Kozminski University in the Chief Financial Officer programme.
He specialises in administration, finance and investment management, as well as in developing and implementing data-driven strategies. From 2005 to 2020, he was associated with the State Archives. He began his professional career at the State Archive in Płock and later became Head of the Digitisation Department at the National Digital Archives. He also coordinated the activities of the Competence Centre for the Digitisation of Archival Materials.
As an adviser to the Head Director of the State Archives, he co-developed the digitisation strategy for the state archival network. In 2017, he was appointed Director of the Department of Organisation and Access at the Head Office of the State Archives. In this role, he was responsible, among other things, for the organisation of the State Archives and for activities related to Poland’s national UNESCO list and the UNESCO World Heritage list.
From 2020 to 2026, he served as Chancellor of the Maria Grzegorzewska University, where he was responsible for the university’s operations and finances. In this role, he supervised, among other areas, the implementation of investment projects, the university’s digital transformation, business activities and management accounting. He also participated in research and teaching projects and supported the activities of the university’s knowledge transfer company.
