Corona Generation. Growing Up in a Pandemic

News

Polish Economic Institute would like to invite to a presentation of our newest report “Corona Generation. Growing Up in a Pandemic” on March 16, 2021.

Polish Economic Institute’s newest report “Corona Generation. Growing Up in a Pandemic” aims to estimate the costs generated by COVID-19 in 2020 among young people and forecast short and long-term expenses. It measures the Corona Generation’s past and future situations in three dimensions: education, mental health and the labour market. Due to the choice of these areas, the focus is on young people broadly understood, from the first school years to employees who are still relatively young, up to 34 years of age.

The following report will be presented by Krzysztof Kutwa from PEI’s strategy team.

The issues mentioned in the report will be discussed with:
Justyna Pokojska – DELab, University of Warsaw;
Zsolt Darvas – Senior Fellow, Bruegel;
Ben Slay – UNDP Eurasia’s senior economist.

Introductory remarks and moderation: Piotr Arak, director of the Polish Economic Institute.
